Vacations

Posted by brdesigns on May 17, 2009

Last week we were on vacation. We went to Tijuana, San Diego and Disney and had lots of fun.

The kids enjoyed beeing with the grandparents, titas (my aunts) and their cousin Samuel.
Jaime and I enjoyed being with our friends and had the opportunity to go to the movies to see a “grown up movie”,bowling, night club and ate tacos after going out. Here is a recap of our week.

Nicolas Baptism {our new nephew}.

Jaime’s grandfather turned 90 years old {An excellent reason to celebrate}

Baseball game {Padres vs Rockies} Padres lost the game, but we had the opportunity to meet Adrian Gonzalez and Edgar Gonzalez {players} and Jaime’s dream came true when he meet Tony Gwynn {HOF baseball player}. Tony was the  reason Jaime started play baseball as a kid. Two years ago we went to Cooperstown to the induction of Tony Gwynn to the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Jaime was the first Padre fan to take a picture with the Tony’s plaque at the museum.

I know that for him that moment was priceless!

We took the kids (and 9 more people) to Disneyland and California Adventure. We had a great time there. It was the first time my kids could ride in all the attractions and they loved them.  We were very tired but at the end of the day it was all worth it just to see the smile on their faces.

Mother’s Day, It was the first time for me that I celebrated that day with my in laws. It was great! Thanks!

I did not touch a computer for 10 days. Did not reply my e-mails {well, just to clients} and did not watch any kind of news….Is the “swine flu” still a issue?
That was the best part of my vacation.
